Girls Lunch

On the Friday after Thanksgiving the females of the Berg family went out to lunch at a little boutique village called Gardner's Village. They had a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store there were we got some fudge. Their mascot is a giant black bear and they had a giant stuff toy of one that Saras got to ride.

It was a lot of fun to hang out with all of my Aunts and Cousins and Grandparents.

Salt Lake Temple

While in Utah we had a girls trip to the Salt Lake Temple. It was a lot of fun. We went to Temple Square and the Visitors Center. We got to take a four generation pictures with the Temple and the
Christus.
This was Saras's first time on a train. She looks so cute in her snow suit, though she didn't like it because she couldn't move her arms very much.

While we were there they were testing all the lights out so we got to see Temple Square all lit up in Christmas lights.

At the Macy's that we pasted to get to Temple Square, in the windows there were large balls made entirely out of candy by artists in the city.

We went to the Lion House to have lunch before heading home because Little Miss was tired. The Lion House is most famous for their wonderful rolls.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was fun in Utah. Saras got to meet a lot of my uncles, and aunts, and cousins. She was passed around to everyone, so all could have a chance to hold her.

.....To Grandmothers House We Go.....

In Utah Saras got to meet her Great-Grandparents on my fathers side.

The first night we were there it also snowed. Though it only lasted about a day.
This is the sight from the front door.
It melted before we could get pictures of Saras in her first snow.

Over the River and Through the Woods......

My mom, dad, Saras and I went to Utah for Thanksgiving. We decided to drive there. I hadn't thought it was such a good idea, because I have heard stories of babies crying the whole car ride. So I was not looking forward to that. But my fears were unfounded, Saras was a wonderful baby. She only cried when she was tired, and only for like 15 minuets tops. All I had to do was give her my finger and she fell asleep.
Of course she also had to have her blanket by her face too.

Christmas Boutique

My mom and I and Saras went to the Christmas Boutique that Buckeye was putting on. They had a giant ice sculpture you could take pictures with. We got one with Saras.

They had a dance group do a dance number to a song I had never heard. "He was still her little Child". It was beautiful. It is now one of my favorite songs.

Play Time

Saras loves her floor time. But I couldn't find a reasonable priced play mat, with the over hanging bars. So I made one with the PVC pipe that was lying around. And she loves it!!

Best part it comes apart and fits in the suitcases so I can take it when we travel.

Halloween

Halloween was fun. I made the chili that my mom always does on Halloween. Saras got to hold her first chocolate that grandpa gave her.

She got to were the Rapunzel onesie dress I had got her back before she was born. She looked so cute in it.

We did go out trick-or-treating but like 10 minuets in she filled up her diaper. So we had to go home and cut trick-or-treating short. But it was ok because we had fun.

The Temple Trip

The Phoenix area got a new temple, so Shane and I went to the open house. It was great to tour the new temple that I would be going to one day. It was quite beautiful and peaceful there.

Though Little Miss slept through the whole tour.

Dad's Side Grandma And Grandpa Visit

We went to go see Shane's mom and dad and Grandma, so they could meet our little bundle of joy.

Heads Up

Saras has always been good at holding her head up. She has been working on it since she was born. Here are a few pictures for her progress.

Month 2

Month 3

Cuddling, The Best of Past Times

Cuddle time is a favorite of the house hold. And everyone is in on the action. It is also Saras's favorite way of napping.

As you can tell it's Grandmas favorite time of the day.

Grandpa's napping with her.

Swinging All the Day Long

Well not really. Saras only tolerated the swing for a half hour at most, at a time. But thank you Aunty Janet and Uncle Dexter for it. Maybe she will like it when she is older.

Sleeping time.....Zzzzz......

My little Girl loves to sleep. She loves her naps before eating. And she doesn't like to wake up either. It's so cute.
From day one she refused to be swaddled with her arms in the blanket.

A boppy is amazing when she needs to sleep at an angle because of congestion.

Thought it was adorable she had to have her arms in the air to sleep.

First Real Bath

This was Saras's first Real bath, in a baby bathtub. She liked it a lot more then the sponge baths before.

All wrapped up and getting dry.

Mama's Birthday!

This was my first birthday after having Saras. We had my best friends over for cake and movies. It was a lot of fun.
Gorgeous cake that my mom Stacy made. It's a crown on a head of brown hair.

Making a wish.
